I have been poking around on the Australian Shepherd club page, USASA version, since my partner is vying really hard to get one in the future (I'm keen to stick with Picards, but alas...). I noticed on the Board of Directors page they include the year with which each term ends for people on the board. I think it may be a nice addition to the BPCA website to include date terms end. | Abbey Harrison | Abbey | Harrison | Is the BPCA moving towards offering versatility awards and setting up a structure for such, as it seems many other breed clubs offer? Would love to see this happen! Do you need help outlining potential options, happy to perform an analysis of what many other breed clubs require and offer for versatility in comparison to what Berger Picard owners are titling in... Second suggestion, but more of a question. There are just as many associate members as active members (65 and 66 respectively), this doesn't seem to support the longevity of the club. Maybe the length of time people are required to be associate members should be reviewed in order to ensure there is an appropriate and representative number of active members? In region 4 there are DOUBLE the number of associate members than active members, eek! This doesn't seem like it would properly represent the voices found in this region, nor allow for additional involvement? Thank you!! | 2025-06-26 | ||||||
