Irish Wolfhound Breed Ambassadors
The IWCA Breed Ambassador program has been established to connect those seeking reliable information about the breed with knowledgeable representatives to answer questions or redirect inquiries to further sources of information. Breed Ambassadors will serve as guides to help those interested in both general and specific topics regarding IW health, activities, behaviors, grooming, performance events, conformation showing and the IWCA, to name a few. The program’s goal is to provide a person-to-person line of communication to anyone asking questions, and to establish credible sources for correct and current information.
Breed Ambassadors will apply to the program annually and indicate their areas of interest and special skill. They will be bound by a code of conduct and will display the very best intentions of the IWCA as they promote best practices with regard to caring for Irish Wolfhounds of all ages. Support information will be available as needed to address specific concerns of those who reach out for information. Breed Ambassadors will demonstrate non-judgmental, positive approaches to any and all inquiries as they conduct themselves as educators, sources for valuable information, and guides into the fascinating world of Irish Wolfhounds.
Members who wish to participate in the Breed Ambassador program, please see Member Programs for further information.
